I am a child of the arts who grew up in Oklahoma, cultivating my imagination and creative brain through both visual and performing arts. As a singer and actress, I was always the recipient of floral bouquets after my performances. Being gifted flowers after a show has always made me feel unexplainably special, a feeling that most certainly I will never forget. It is that feeling which I hope to spread to others through my floral creations.

I had never thought to create floral arrangements myself until planning my own wedding, when budgetary realities left me with no option but to design the florals myself. The first bouquet I ever made was my bridal bouquet, at about 11:00 pm the night before my wedding day. When I completed my bouquet, I had one of the biggest epiphanies of my life: floral design is art, an art form using elements from our natural world to celebrate life, love, and the human experience. I fell in love with creating beauty that can enrich the life of others, whether for their wedding day, a holiday, a time of hardship and sadness, or just as a simple reminder that they are special and loved.
